He had one foot up on the fountain to adjust his boot, and therefore did not see his little companion's arrival.

There was a moment's pause before, bouncing just a little, she pounced upon him in a hug.

Trism let out a sound of surprise, and then laughed and returned the hug.

"A very good morning to you too, miss!"

He desperately tried to place her name, but the trouble of being friendly with everyone was having too many names to fit in one head.

She smiled at him, a familiar enough smile, and green green eyes peeked out from behind all the lovely black curls.
