This are photos of our August 26 Photo Shoot in Central Park. Saturday morning was hot and steamy, and my thoughts ranged from "Maybe I won't wear the jacket" to "I'll look fine without the vest" to "F--k it, I'm wearing the lightest shirt that isn't a tee." I really enjoyed looking at these, and you are right, the setting was perfect. I think next time you do this, you ought to write up a few steampunk fiction excerpts - as if from a larger, Victorian, novel - and act them out in tableau vivant, like the plates in an old book. I especially liked the "plotting" picture you took when people weren't looking.

Thank you! I've never considered writing steampunk. I'm working on a Victorian short story about a harpist but there's nothing steampunk about it. There is a steampunk erotic m/m anthology that is accepting submissions and I might take a shot at that. Tableau would be fun. I've thought about having an event where everyone dresses as a character from their favorite 19th century painting. I am also hoping to organize a steampunk ice skating/hot chocolate outing. And update my other LJ someday.... but school starts tomorrow and I've been enjoying my time off way too much. Nose to the grindstone!
