Charles Winpenny is back from his holiday in France and has some great pictures up on the Cornwall Cam, including some from his holiday.

On Project Rungay they pointed out that the most likely reason the judges fell all over themselves over Kenley's dress is that it's very, very similar to stuff that was being shown in the spring runway season. Most likely they were impressed that she picked up on/adapted the new style that fast.

Personally, I hated Terri's, but I thought Leanne's was beautiful.

Oh my! If that's what they're showing for spring I feel very sad. That does sort of partly explain why the judges might have been interested in that dress.

I'm still miffed that Leanne didn't win. It was such a great comeback for her.

Yet apparently, that seems to be their core audience. There's a reason I don't watch much HGTV :P

(I will watch Vern's show on occasion, but mostly I like those shows about sprucing up houses to get them to move on the market)

I used to watch their gardening shows every Saturday morning, but it's been a couple of years since I've done that. I think Design Star and occasionally House Hunters are the only shows I watch anymore. Oh, and that new Sleep On It show -- I keep hoping one of them will end up in a haunted house. There used to be a show on TLC that was a really good fix up and sell show. I think it was called Sell This House. Not sure if it's on anymore, though.

Top Design starts soon, right? That I am looking forward to.
