I've heard all this bounty-for-turning-in-your-annoying neighbors stuff long since, but it bears repeating.

Our fearless leaders like to keep invoking the Munich Agreement as an argument that we must fight the great evil rather than appeasing it. Don't they realize which side of that analogy we're on? We have met the enemy and he is us.

It's very scary and I think they do not realize which size of the analogy we're on. I guess it's fairly easy to delude yourself that you're in the right when you have that much power.
