I just started watching the 3rd episode of Samurai High School, and it's about how the female lead Ai starts to entertain the possibility of pursuing her dreams of becoming a singer. It has nothing to do with the song we just finished writing, really, but I keep thinking about how much music can help us talk about feelings we never really want to face.

I think I had more than one salisi in my short lifetime, and I just wanted to say thank you for letting me write this song with you. I am honored that you would be the one to tell my story, one that I've never really talked about with anyone. I guess I have to say that for me, this song took years to be made. ♥
