Kageyama Riku blinks open one eye before he yawns and sits up to lean his arms on his workstation. On one of his many screens, Shindou Kaede is peering back at him with his hair in a topknot and a toothbrush balanced at the corner of his mouth.
Adjusting his glasses, Riku clicks twice on the button that activates the sound.
"Hai, Gun-freak. Couldn't you have finished your morning ritual before you clocked in?"
And miss out on being the first to wish you good morning?
Any other day, Riku may have had a comeback to that. But he didn't sleep so well the night before. He'd been up waiting for Yasu to clock in from his own home.
Yasu hadn't.
