The sight she was now, perhaps her saddest. She hated it.
This is sad, but probably true. I like how you describe her observing the bar scene here. I can see her quietly sitting and noting what everyone--especially Kara--is doing.
It was good to be out, not to be lying in that horrible white bed, listening to Bill’s heart breaking and thinking angrily, bitterly, that hers couldn’t.
What an interesting observation... it makes me wonder why she thinks this is so.
“The President will have a glass of your best rot.”
LOL!!! This made me smile. This seems so Kara to me. Only the best for the President.
“Still here.”
They're both survivors, against unusually high odds. So interesting.
No one survived that. Also, Earth turned out to be a radiated wasteland. No one’s home.
This mindframe that Laura has makes it all the more believable to me.
“I imagined taking you against the nearest bulkhead right then and there.”Gahhhhhhhhhhh. Say it like it is, Kara. She's speaking for a lot of us

Pfsh! You don't want a sequel! You hardly has times to read my fics at all let alone one I haven't written yet.
Glad you enjoyed it though. And I proudly accept my "Gone Fishing" award. I bet Laura enjoys fishing. Loves it even. In fact, she's probably a closet fisherman.
Oh realies? IF and when I write this sequel with some hot sexins, might I trouble you for some Kara/Laura? Something as beautiful as Qualia? I hardly ever get to simply enjoy reading it. Only way I can is to write it myself first.
Although I don't personally buy Laura and Kara as a couple I was amazed at how incredibly in character these two were for me even though this was outside the box of how I usually perceive these characters and their sexual orientation.
I enjoyed this alot. There aren't enough fics dealing with Laura and Kara's relationship imo and this is a great addition to it.

I don't think there's nearly enough fics dealing with Kara and Helo's relationship, easily my favorite in the series.
Thanks for reading and thanks for your comments.
