If you're not American, what do you think about Superbowl Sunday?

What is Superbowl Sunday? I'm guessing it's a sports thing?

We have football here as well, but I know as little about it as I know about Superbowl! We have totally different kinds of football. Much more violent than American football. Which I guess is a plus or a minus, depending on your tastes!
