I am so tired right now. All day long, I bit my touch. Yes, of course, N came in late on the day L had to go to training. Yes, N knew she had to be into work. This was scheduled, advertised training. Of course, who gets called? No, not the manager. No, not the big boss. Me ( Read more... )

I'd email the teacher. They are supposed to give them something like 3 days to make up missed work if you excused his absence. That includes turning in an assigment if it was due the day he was out. Tude missed 7th period yesterday and was supposed to turn in a project, she turned it in today for full credit.

And don't let them give you shit about a dr. note, *you* can call in an excuse if it's only one day. A dr. note is only required if it's more than a couple of days in a row.

in the mean time *mega hugs*

He's not allowed to turn in what he did. He has to do something else entirely. *sighs*

I'm saving my time off. My sister comes in from Michigan at the end of the month, so I'll have to take time off then.

*BIG HUG* I love you, sweetie.

I hear you about the 7:11 thing. I'm got one mother of a head cold and I still have to come in to work because there's no-one else to do what I do.

The only good thing about it is that the constant blowing of my nose means that nobody coming close enough to ask me to do anything extra...

One day you'll get the recognition you deserve...at least that's what I'm hoping! *hugs*

I know just how you feel. Someone at work wants me to do something. Something they have the time and ability to do but they don't do it, so they ask me. I feel like I'm the bitch for saying to my boss "why am I doing their work?!" I shouldn't feel bad, because it needs to be said. Next time Big Boss asks about a task, reply in an informative, non-accustory way that you had to cover the phones because N came in late again. Just say it very matter-of-fact, like you're not complaing, just explaining. That way it doesn't come out bitchy or like you're making excuses, and at the same time, he finds out that N fucked up again ( ... )

YAY! I figured you stayed home for your birthday. GOOD! I imagined you snug in bed with Sex And The City. :-)

The problem is, like you, I do care what people think. Plus, I like to make people's lives better if I can. And it never fails - when I'm selfish, I always get some big reaction about it. That's how I know I'm a monster; yet, same rules don't apply to anyone else.

It helps that you understand. It really, really helps.
