On CNN's front page, there is a link to the geeks of Dragon Con on parade, dancing and ... well, being geeks.

Allow me to stress: ON THE FRONT PAGE OF CNN.COM.

Of course, there's also breaking news at the top of the page about Steve Irwin dying by stingray sting. Whoa.

I think I need to go to bed.

Wake up and go back to sleep!

Having attended Dragon Con I know now why I'm in a foul mood... I miss being there! I am such a voyeur geek (or is that geek voyeur???)! Unless the caliber of attendees drastically declined it honestly looked more pathetic than I know it was the last couple of years. Curse you spin doctors!!!

Tragic news about the Crocodile Hunter... When I heard the news the other night his wife might not have been aware but clearly has been informed... very sad.

I'm still in shock that such a level of lame geekry was available for public consumption. While I did get a giggle from the Darth Vadar and Yoda prom couple, and the squadron of Stormtroopers marching, the rest frightened me.

I don't want this to go mainstream.
