Ponderance

I wonder if my life can come with a fictional warning like the one the fanatics want before The Da Vinci Code.

Warning: this is a work of fiction. None of it is true.

Oh, and you die at the end. Sorry to spoil it for you.

warning, ponderance

To come to the defense of the fanatics... I've run into more than a few people that appear to be under the delusion that the Da Vinci Code is ETCHED IN STONE FACT. In fact, these people are the reason that I still haven't read it. They annoy me, and therefor any mention of the book annoys me.

I have a client (I am a criminal appellate attorney) who firmly believes that, not only is the Da Vinci Code totally true, but that she is a direct descendant of Jesus and Mary Magdalene.

She also believes that she is a Knight Templar, sworn in at the age of five, that she had information that would have prevented 9/11, only nobody would listen to her, and that Michael Jackson tried to murder her.

*chuckles* It's a good book. So stop listening on one group of fanatics that frighten another group of fanatics, dootyhead.
