Dark matter is very weird. I've done quite a bit of reading about it, and own personal crackpot theory is that it's not actually matter in our dimension, it's the gravitational shadow caused by matter in dimensions "above" our own. Yup.

Ooooo. I likey that theory very much. All that sort of stuff I find fascinating and haven't made up my mind about any of it yet.

I love reading books about cosmology and physics and such, as long as they don't go too heavily into the maths, because that just makes my brain hurt.

I've read a Hawkings book, but skipped the math. I don't know how much I got out of it. But I love that stuff. I want to go see Neil DeGrasse Tyson's museum in NYC.

Concerning the Flint serial killer, when I found out the victims were black, I figured the killer was also black because serial killers tend to stay within their race. When I found out he was a white male, then I thought "white supremacist bullshit cracker redneck asshole". Turns out the guy was captured at the airport on his way to Israel. He's an Isreali citizen. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/08/13/AR2010081303031.html?hpid=topnews
I don't know what to make of that. Guess the FBI will have to start updating their profiling methods. Hope they interview this guy extensively. I want to know what was going on in his head.

Wow. That is interesting. I didn't know all that. How f'n weird is that.

Anomalies should be expected. Profiling isn't an exact science. Not everything is known and/or will fit. It's a best guess based on information gathered before. Still, it's better than what we were doing.
