Fuck Me

Sep 09, 2009 21:55

Received housing assignment from the college for the boy. Four boys in a two bedroom apartment with a kitchen and bathroom. Wow. I guess we'll be buying cooking supplies and as well as cleaning supplies. Four boys in an apartment - oh god. Will they clean anything?

Tell me he's going to have a wonderful life. Please.

college, the boy

No, you're probably right. Save yourself the money on the cleaning supplies. Although, if it's university housing, they used to come in and inspect when my sister was in college and write you up for stupid stuff like having trash in the trash can.

But, I'm sure he's going to have a wonderful life.

I'm not sure what this is. An apartment isn't exactly a dorm, so I don't know what type of RAs they'll have or if they'll even have such a thing.

And it's in the city. I Google-mapped it. Man. He should be happy.

We've got two in my house, and I regularly clean the bathroom once every week-and-a-half, because it looks frigging awful if I don't.

And you don't get pissed off because no one else cleans?

Incredibly. And I swallow it, and that will likely lead me to a repressed-rage freakout that will make national news. Someday. Not today. Tomorrow's not looking good for it either.

But June 23, 2019, watch out.

Sounds like fun to me. ;)

Clean? There will be at least, a path to the
door.

And he's going to have a wonderful life.

*snuggles* He is going to have a wonderful life. He's so excited about going. His face just lights up when he even thinks about it.

I'm just going to miss him so much.

I know. I've had times when one or both of
mine were unavailable for long periods, even
years. It's one of the hardest things I've
ever had to get used to. Let alone one being
in the military, which I never saw coming. But
as usual, he knew what he needed to do, to
get what he wanted out of life, and I was just
being a mommie who didn't want her son gone
for all that time, let alone in danger. And the
other one has such a time learning the lessons
of life, it seems like it's been a roller coaster
ride with him. I'm hoping Lyric, who he loves so
much, and the relationship with Christy will keep
him from veering off again.

Either way, they will always be our babies, no
matter how old they get, won't they? ;)

You know, I keep telling him he'll always be my little boy no matter how old he gets, but he doesn't listen to me.

He's going to have a wonderful life. And they'll keep a fire-path, at the very least.

Thanks! I'm assuming a fire-path is good thing.

A fire path is a clear path between the beds, windows and doors. In case of fire, hence, firepath. It's what we called it when my parents still had right of commandment.

He IS going to have a wonderful life.

The place will look like a bomb-site and smell like a latrine, but hopefully that will teach him the value of house-work. :)

LOL! So long as the bomb-site has all the video consoles, then I agree. I'm going to have to find hotels near by because I won't be staying with the boy.
