A Very Berkeley Fambily Get-Together

30 of us gathered in the Bay Area this afternoon to celebrate my (upcoming on 9/11) 50th b-day. 'Twas a Very Berkeley gathering w/lotsa extended and convoluted fambily, along w/several friends who I've known for a very long time

I love that your family is so convoluted and obviously filled with people who value love over society's expectations. It surprises me not one whit that you come from a family like this.
