P.S. They also reported that "Moonlight" will be released on DVD... "soon". *g*

Edit: ONTD on the renewalI wish people would quit comparing everything vampire related to "Twilight". The damn " ( Read more... )

I'm so glad to hear that it's been renewed! ^^ I wonder how long each season is?

Me too. Very pleasantly surprised.

Darn, if "Six Feet Under" is any basis for comparison, they're short 12-13 episode seasons.

Balls. =/ Thirteen seems to be the new popular season number. If I remember correctly, the first season of Blood Ties was thirteen episodes. Even the animes in Japan are typically running thirteen episodes now, rather than twenty-six like they used to. With the rate that True Blood is going, maybe they'll use those thirteen episodes to cover the first book only...?

Yeah, I like the older 20+ episode seasons. Thirteen feels like half a season.

I heard someone say that the season might equate to one book. Wonder if they'll stick with the books next season or branch out on their own.

Happy about "Moonlight" which I really liked. Last years WGA strike really screwed them over as well as some others. Then CBS suddenly lost faith and cancelled their People's Choice Award winner - stupid move! Maybe the DVD will have unused footage or outtakes - would love that!

I would have loved a Jared out-takes reel from Alexander - you know they had them - Jared, Colin, Rosario - all of them - so where are they? Just like I've waited years for the blooper reels from "Gladiator" because I've heard about some of them and would love to see the goofs.

Well, I'm off to bed - talk to everyone soon.
Nighty-night

I'm not sure if "Moonlight" had any un-aired episodes left. Somehow I doubt they'll do extras for a failed series, unless the producer is really pulling for it.

You haven't seen all the behind-the-scenes extras from "Alexander"? Hmmm, the scene from my icon where Jared and Colin touch medallions. There's another with Jared and Colin gazing at each other. Jared practicing the sword fights in his diaper like outfit. *g* Jared waiting for a scene to start, sounding sick, saying maybe he'll go for a romantic comedy next time around. Jared/Colin scene where they're asked how they pick roles. Jared and several other co-stars in the van going to location. Hephaistion's death scene being filmed.

Did I mention I fell in love with Jared as Hephaistion?

I think "Moonlight" aired everything, I just wondered if there was a gag reel.

On "Alexander Revisited" there are a lot of the deleted scenes cut back into the movie where Oliver originally wanted them. It's m favorite version too. The second dvd version they call the Directors Cut, has all the extras on it, I just didn't find anything that funny except Jared lying in bed as the dying Hephaestion, busily typing away on his Blackberry. I'd love to have his email address - yeah!

I also fell in love with Jared as Hephaestion because I didn't like him in Panic Room, but was willing to suspend my doubts for Alexander. Lucky thing I did.

So on that note, I'm off to bed - alone - just me and my fat toy poodle - he wants to play fetch with it. Sheesh. No concerpt of gight and day.

I thought Jared was listening to music in Hephaistion's death scene. There is a picture of Jared letting Colin listen with one of the ear buds. I imagine that was Jared's way to tune out while Colin was jumping all over the bed.

I know it was quick, but Jared fighting in the diaper number wasn't funny?

As far as I know, the only Jared film I saw before I got into "Alexander" was "Girl, Interrupted". Such a small role and he really didn't make a strong impression on me. Hephaistion made an impression. *g*
