Cleaning out my Bloglines "save list" on Jared. Some stuff may be old news.

Interesting article on celeb dating ... a sort of Six Degrees of Separation done boy-girl-boy-girl. My search query tripped on it because of Jared's inclusion. Shock of shocks, they actually picked the two girls he did date, rather than the umpteen that the tabloids are

Steve McQueen might have been manly but he was also butt ugly! I prefer the pretty ones.

"Requiem for a Dream" is a horrid movie to watch... which is not to say it's not a good movie. It's just disturbing and painful and in places, simply disgusting. But I guess that's what you have to expect in a movie about addicts.

I can't even picture Steve McQueen or Charles Bronson, but I take it they were "manly men". *g* I'll stick to the pretty boys as well.

I saw "Requiem" once when I first discovered Jared. Haven't had the desire to rewatch it. It's a powerful movie, but not something I could ever call a favorite.

I'd comment on the people he's linked with, only I doubt you want to hear! But yeah, I'd heard Montreal all along for the movie (Sarah is Canadian, after all)

That's largely true. It's hard for me to believe that someone who is that's that intelligent could be satisfied with someone that shallow. Or someone who tries to avoid vices would choose someone who indulges in them. Just seems inconsistent to me.

But then those are things you'd look at more in terms of "long term" relationships. I suppose one night stands can be entirely physical.

Given I'm practically a nun without the religious commitment, I tend to idealize relationships.
