That's the order I ranked them in as well. Loved the first two, but the third paled in the comparison.

Did you ever get the extended dvds?

The third one just felt academic. Plus it's hard to bond with characters when they are dropping like flies. *g*

You mean Oliver Stone's Alexander? The new one I was going on about won't be out for another year. I have the theatrical version and the director's cut.
