Cars...

I've been getting rather obsessed with cars lately (well, since I've been looking for one). I'm also noticing how picky I am about what car I would like to have. There isn't a whole lot of talk in any of your journals about the cars you all like (I only know that Mytra loves Cavaliers), so I'm curious about which vehicles interest all of you ( Read more... )

I keep borrowing my grandmother's maroon cavalier because I feel much safer in her car. I'm sure you won't regret your purchase when you get one. :)

The RAV4 seems to be quite a popular vehicle. Do you like the new 2006 design? I have only seen the pics on the toyota website, but I don't know if I'll like the new ones. It is supposed to be a larger vehicle with a V6 engine. I had always liked how small they were and the good mpg they had compared to the other suv's. But this means the ones I like will be much cheaper so yay for that! lol.

Aww, I'm glad you were able to get your cav! :)

Oh yes, you will want the ac working when summer comes back. The hot air from an open window doesn't do much good.

i have a toyota corolla coz i need a easy to maintain (and not to $$) car. :) but i am now obssessed with getting a Prius, coz i do long drives (30+ miles one way to work) and i need to save on gas/mileage. the other + thing is that Hybrid vehicles can get into the car pool lane even when you are alone in the car once you've registered it and get a special sticker with the DMV.

I was told the 2006 RAV4 would be arriving in December at the Toyota dealer I spoke to. Perhaps the new 2006 model of the Prius will be be out around the same time. The 2006 Prius is the one you want to buy?

Hmm well I've owned 2 cars since getting my license a couple years ago.... First was a Dodge Neon SxT...I LOVED IT...great on gas...good compact car with sporty look...was about 15,000 or so only reason i survived my accident was because it was built well and did what it was supposed to do.

My current vechile is a 2004 Jeep Liberty. Absolutely LOVE it and yes its pricey but i wasn't thinking straight at the time..lol I probably shouldn't have purchased it but you live and learn.

What i really want to have when i can trade in the Jeep is either a Saturn Ion Coupe (so freaking cool) in black or a Scion Tc (LOVE THAT CAR SOOOO MUCH OMG....!!)

The Jeep Liberty is a nice vehicle. I see a lot of them on the road around here.

Have you gone to a Scion dealer to get the brochure on the Scion Tc? They even have pictures of the cars people have customized. It is interesting to see how much you can do with the Tc model.

I haven't gone into a dealer....only because I don't want to tempt myself or wish for something I can't have right now..LOL! I love that car so much!

And the dealers certainly tempt you into buying one. If you do go to a local dealer just to look then go on a Sunday. It will be easier to walk away if you don't have a dealer whispering in your ear about how much you need to buy one now. lol.
