Good news & Zoo

Nov 23, 2004 03:51

The good news is that I deleted MYIE and downloaded Mozilla Firefox. Now I can go into the two journals that were always crashing on my other two browsers, so this makes me happy. Just keep this up Firefox!

Also, Happy Birthday to shinzelikeastarDecided to go to the zoo on Sunday because it will be too cold to go soon and we wanted to see the cubs again before ( Read more... )

It's great that you figured out a way to see all journals.

It's so nice to see how much you love animals. You should work with animals. Maybe you can volunteer to work with animals. :)

I used to work with exotic and farm animals. Would love to do something similar to that again. Most animal related jobs are not as tough to do as that one was, so my knee can handle the rest. Been looking for job opportunities at the local Animal Hospital and Animal Clinic. I'm most familiar with the Animal Hospital where the atmosphere is warm and friendly, but the Animal Clinic takes in wild animals. I'm wanting more of a broad range of contact with animals, so the Animal Clinic is the one I'm most hoping to work or volunteer at. And their vet checked out the wild baby bunny I raised, so he'd know I can handle any orphaned babies they need help with. My favorite part is raising the little guys, even if you have to wake up every few hours to feed them. Nothing brings more pleasure than that experience. Well, other then feeling them kick while they are still in the womb. :)

You just got me thinking I should go to the zoo again sometime soon...I haven't been for ages...

My mum always watches shows on animals on Animal Planet or National Geographic and her favourites are monkeys too;) We are always joking about it as she just stares at the tv when she gets to see her orangutans but it's very cute and those shows are lovely...

It must've been a great experience to see that doctor in the zoo and what he's trying to do...hope he will be very successful in the future as it is a lovely cause he's fighting for:)

Sorry one of your favourite orangutans died...and let's hope they let the baby elephant stay...will you be posting some pictures of the zoo? Would love to see them...

Ah well, of course you can pick your favourite pix...no need to upload them all;) Or email them to me, I don't mind...

You're too cute when you talk about your monkeys...:) Maybe I should get something like that for my mum too...i.e. a documentary on monkeys...should ask though first as she's probably seen most of them by now lol

Happy late Thanksgiving:)

I don't think my computer would let me upload them all. lol. Think it's about at the end of it's life cycle. The pictures should be arriving soon though, so I'll know more once I get a look at how they turned out. :)

It is rather hard to find documentaries in stores. I was just browsing at Amazon.com for them. With Christmas coming up, your mother might not have seen a documentary for sale or perhaps she's seen one she'd like to own.

Thanks, hun! :)
