I'm right there with you. We haven't had much in the way of summer here either. For the 4th of July, we wore sweatshirts and fleece jackets, and once the sun went down, we wrapped ourselves in the blankets we brought to sit on.
I know here, last Thursday we had to break out long pants and sweatshirts to hang out outside. And yet the week before was the hottest yet. It's shocking.
Trade ya! It's currently 89, with a real feel of 98, and a high of 94 (real feel 102). Yesterday was the first day that the heat really, really got to me.
Yup, it's pretty much in eastern Illinois. Rob and I probably would've preferred your weather this past Monday in Bourbonnais instead of being turned into redneck lobsters.
