Last night I went to a phenomenal concert at a phenomenal venue. If you live in or plan to visit Seattle, find a reason to go to The Triple Door. It's an old theater that they've turned into a very classy dinner and music venue. Ahh! Girlyman! That's awesome. I wish I paid more attention to concerts- I think I've already missed Patty Griffin, Yonder Mountain, and now, apparently, Girlyman. Lame-o.

Yonder Mountain is tonight. At Neumo's on Capitol Hill. I don't think it's sold out.

Aww, suck. Someone told me it was today, so I didn't even go look for tickets. And now it's probably too late. Suck, suck, suck. At least I have good grapes from the PCC...

The Wild Ginger food you can get at the Triple Door is fantastic, too. (Not sure if that's the same food you meant.) Last time we were there, it was Chinese New Year and some performers came in and did the dragon dance thing while we were there.

I *heart* the Triple Door. I'm still so bummed that Mountain Goats concert sold out. But I've had tons of fun just showing up for dessert on random nights and seeing whoever shows up. Last time, it was this fun salsa-esque band, complete with a hundred people that started shaking their sassy hips all sassafrass and such. Good. Times.

Plus, they have delish champagne. :)
