12 Books

A while back, my friends, Jill and E, started this 12 books challenge. I don't remember all the details, and I guess I could go back and read what they did, but instead I'll just go ahead with what I think it was. This is totally E's project. I just like to have an excuse to nag people to read. Maybe I should have been an English teacher afterall . . .
I liked the Happiness Project. I also really enjoy her blog. I am intrigued by a lot of your choices particularly:
Mrs. Dalloway (K's nagging me to read it)
The Sot Weed Factor (I've liked some of his other books and I'm writing a short story with the same setting)
How to Talk, etc.
Can't wait to see what you think.

I'd also like to read The Happiness Project. I really, really enjoyed The Geography of Bliss, which explores similar themes and I think you'd love. I also really enjoyed Animal Vegetable Miracle.

I loved Mrs. Dalloway, but I have more than a passing fondness for Virginia Woolf separate entirely from her writing.

I've heard only good things about Haruki Murakami!
