Between husband and wife (closed to Tyr)

Margaret had been turning an idea over in her mind. It should have felt wrong to her, or at least odd, but instead seemed to make a lot of sense. She sat on the sofa after the twins were asleep, deep in thought, waiting for Tyr.

It was time to see what he thought of the idea.

Tyr was finished with his shift for the day. It was rare for him to be called back, since there were very few security problems. So far, nothing else had happened after the failed break-in by ghost hunter Ed.

"Is there something?" he asked. Margaret did not usually just sit unless she was resting after a particularly strenuous play session, and she wasn't doing that. Nothing appeared to be wrong, but she was being still.

"I had Sonya over for coffee today." She looked at him. "I like her." Margaret said those words as if they were underlined.

This was obviously significant. She wasn't one of Margaret's usual companions and he knew they'd spoken after the tournament.

"She's a skilled fighter, disciplined. A lot like you." She was younger than Margaret but the village brought together any number of people.

He wasn't exactly sure where this was going: it was going somewhere.

Margaret lowered her head and began to tick points off on her fingers.

"She's stronger and faster than most women, training aside. She's got good genes. She's also jealous of me, for having a man who appreciates such strengths in a woman." Margaret looked back up at him.

"I think our family would be stronger for having her in it."
