Characters: Merlin, Arthur

Something stirred in Merlin as he put on his tunic. Pausing for a moment, he frowned. Deciding to investigate, Merlin left his chambers and trusted his feet to carry him to where he needed to be. I love this because of Merlin's simple, straightforward way of speaking. He doesn't mince words or be overly kind of Arthur because that's not how Merlin is; he knows babying him won't solve or help anything. It's so perfectly in-character for the two of them, especially since Arthur's reaction is to just ignore him. I love it. <3

I was really worried that they wouldn't be in character but I'm so glad you find that they are! Thank you! < 333

Somehow I love this. This is so Merlin-Arthur-ish. Very canon.

But... what ? why ? This isn't the begining of an awesome fic ? T__T

Sorry, this is just a drabble that I wrote in the summer and decided to post it so nope, not the beginning. Who knows though, I might start writing on it further in the future!

Merlin is so perceptive, he knows exactly what's troubling Arthur and deals with it, whether Arthur ignores him or not.

Good job.
