Ten years ago today I feel in love a band. Ten years ago today I was not a Diabetic. Ten years ago I was 11.
The diabetic thing is kind of shocking to me. I have been a diabetic a loooong time. It's who I am.

On the morning of December 8th 2000 I woke up for 6th grade just like every other morning. I turned on Good Morning America like I did ( Read more... )

Wow. I can totally understand about diabeties since my Mom has Type 1 or Juvinelle. She was dianozed with it when she was 21-years-old, but she might have had it longer. She was only dating my Dad at the time, so he was the one who convinced her to go to the hospital sinc eshe and my grandparents thought it was only the flu. So my Dad saved her life. And my Mom was able to get into treatments and marry my Dad and have me and my brother, and she's now 47. :) She's actually doing really well for having it so long. She's had her blood sugar drop a few times, but it really isn't that often. So I grew up around this and I know so much about it and also about Type 2 or the adult kind as well ( ... )

That's awesome you're mom is doing good now! And such a sweet story about your parents <3

Yeah, my parents were teenagers in the 60's and loved the Beatles. My dad saw AHDN in the movie theater, and said he couldnt hear anything because girls screamed whe whole time. lol. And my older brother and sister liked them too, which makes it even more weird that I discovered them without any of their help XD

I feel bad for his family too, but it is kind of cool because apperently Cyn and Yoko have been trying to get to know eachother year and be a family with Sean and Julian. It's like John wanted them to or something. <3 And you're right, we'll always have the music.

Aww thanks!!! :D

I couldn't imagine all the screaming in the theaters. I think that's why my Dad more remembers watching "Help!" since they were in their car at the drive-in. LOL ;)

I love that Cyn and Yoko are getting along, as well as Julian and Sean (well the brothers always did have a good relationship). :)
