Wow. This was excellent! A really interestingly conceived AU, and I loved your descriptions - they were almost poetic! I think you really captured that underlying nihlism of Nate's and I love the way you highlighted the way the others somehow depend on him for guidiance, even though they all have their own strengths. Well done!

One teeny tiny thing - I think you'll find the biblical hero whose strength was in his long hair was Samson, not Solomon.

Oh, gosh, yes - oops! I had it in my head that this AU!Nate paralleled them all with biblical characters, so Eliot's Samson, and Sophie's the Queen of Sheba, and Nate himself is Solomon (although the kind of Solomon who would have sliced the baby in two) and Parker's Ruth and Hardison's idk, Benjamin? But he would rather be Joseph. But the one I manage I type wrong. Ahhh, I'm just that awesome.
