Hey Everyone!

Ok, so I have been doing some thinking these past few days. I mean A LOT of thinking. The thing I have been thinking about? MerDer.

The Main focus: Their lack of a storyline so far this season.

I think (and A LOT of other MerDer fans) the reason that MerDer are not being shown as much this season, is because they do have something HUGE ( Read more... )

Amber, like you, I've been thinking a lot about MerDer recently (actually always. The little MerDer screen time pissed me off terribly. I always wonder why .......Doesn't Shonda know that MerDer is the main money stream of the show? Even if she thinks she is the queen of the show, ABC would not let her.....So like you, I think (or believe) that something BIG will happen on them...........something very sad and unhappy for them at first but might end at an expected u-turn into something nice and make us MerDer fans happy thing..........These are just my opinion and hope......really.
All in all, my love for MerDer will never diminish even if Shonda fails us...

I agree. If I were Shonda and had this couple who sold my show, I would feature them front and center. No bookends, or 30 second scenes at the hospital. They would be shown A LOT.

I just hope that 2009 will be MerDer's year, and that we will get a lot of suprises. :)

I have a feeling something big is coming too. There has to be a reason why we've gotten so little of them this season, right?

Derek's mom visiting is definitely a big thing, especially for Meredith, whose meeting her future mother-in-law (I'm determined to be optimistic ;) )

A proposal would be a great season finale cliffhanger, and honestly, I think it's time. Something like that would boost ratings a ton. :)

As long as neither of them are put in danger. Dead Derek in the season five premiere still scares me, especially because of what Shonda said.

This show stresses me out way too much. :P

I agree with you. Derek's mom visiting is really really huge. That is one of the main reasons that I believe that someting big is going to happen.

I kinda forgot about Dead Derek. I just can't watch that scene. I cry too much! :P

But, you are so right about Dead Derek and Shonda's "full circle". It scares me....

LOL, this show stresses me out too. ;)

Amber,you maybe onto something there.

Shonda is making us wait a very long time though. I hope they stay together <3

Really they are one of the most intresting/best couple on tv.

I agree Missy,greys is so stressful-damn Shonda!

Hey Heath!

I just have always had this feeling ever since hearing the podcast for the SP that something HUGE is going to happen this year with MerDer. I know that we haven't seen much of them so far this season, but I have a feeling that Shonda is pushing the other storylines along, so that in 2009 MerDer have their HUGE storyline. Shonda was just putting MerDer on the backburner, so that when their time comes they can put the other storylines on the backburners while MerDer shine! :P
