Small Happinesses.

Whether you're male or female, most of the time nobody wants to talk about or hear about things that have to do with a woman's Area, especially when it has to do with The Cycle.  Unless it's Happy Naked Funtime and you're directly involved, most folk don't want to hear about or even think about other people's hoo-hahs.  But you know what?  This is ( Read more... )

HAPPY NAKED FUNTIME!? WHERE!? zombie_brain April 6 2007, 03:20:58 UTC
"If I had wet hands, like, fresh out of the shower or something, sometimes it'd be hard to get a good grip on that stupid, slippery thing - a major pain in the ass."
...Umm, I know we're talking tampons and such here, but damn if that statement doesn't leave itself wide open for multiple entries of double entendre'. Not to mention, isn't a tampon supposed to..y'know...go in the front?

...Just sayin'....

Bwahahaha! I *love* the new design! Having just got through the worst Cycle I've had in probably YEARS, I was delighted with teh new corks! The grippy-thing is brilliant. :)

You know, I've been thinking of trying one of those for a long time now, but I just hadn't gotten off of my ass to actually do it. And I don't care how many product testimonials I read from people I don't know - for something like that, I'd prefer hearing personal experiences from people I know and trust! You definitely fall into that category, so I now find myself even closer to actually getting around to purchasing one.

I, too, very much like the new grippy-thing. They seem to have done something different to the design of the tampon itself, too, but I haven't dissected the new ones and the old ones to figure out what. They do seem to be a bit shorter, though, and there's some kind of thicker part on the string on the end where it attaches.

My only complaint, however, is the thinness of the cardboard--I've had a couple of times where the outside end of the inside tube collapsed just from the little bit of pressure used to insert the tampon. It makes me wonder how sturdy the applicator would be in a purse or a pocket...
