Coffee and a cup of Love

How to celebrate love ?
Some people would celebrate it with dinner for two. Elite restaurants, moonlight, candles and slow instrumental music. One or three dozens of roses. Or Lilies. A diamond ring in suede box. A perfect dance, kisses and promises of eternal love.
Well, those things are classic, romantic… and cheesy.
Kazuya yawned as he stepped out from their bedroom. Contrast from people’s thoughts, Jin wasn’t the one who always mumbled ‘five more minutes…’ and covered himself with the blanket; declining that morning has come.
“Morning “ Jin smiled at him as he passed a cup of coffee to Kazuya’s palm. The pitch black liquid smelt nice and strong, with hot steam dancing beautifully in the air. They stood side by side near the kitchen’s pantry, waiting for the toast to be ready. Kazuya took a sip of his espresso, the bittersweet taste was just perfect.
Kazuya leaned onto Jin’s shoulder, and the older male said nothing; their fingertips brushed against each other. It was a warm, comfortable silence as they didn’t need words to communicate. Kazuya took another sip and stared at the coffee Jin had made for him.
This, he thought, is our simple way to celebrate love.
Strawberry On The Shortcake

Usually, Jin was the one who was being mocked as a glutton.
Well, maybe it’s just Kazuya who was too picky about his food… or Jin who was too strict with his ‘no food waste’ opinion, but the result was always the same anyway : Jin ended up eating everything Kazuya refuses to eat on his plate.
So, it’s usual seeing Jin dig into his food to his heart’s content as Kazuya eats his meal efficiently… until you see Kazuya’s reaction whenever he picks up his fork to enjoy his strawberry shortcake.
Jin would be the one giving his strawberries to Kazuya, feeding him with a gentle smile as the younger male finished the cake, acting all spoilt with cream smeared at the corner of his lips.
“ Here “ Jin fed his lover another strawberry after he cleaned the cream using his thumb. Kazuya took the crimson fruit using his mouth happily, mumbling something like ‘Love you…’ and ‘You’re the best’.
The scene would end with an unusual result : Jin didn’t get to eat one bite, too busy feeding his lover, who finished both of their portions. But still, Jin would enjoy tasting the cake and the strawberries in his own way… later in the night, on their bed. Direct from Kazuya’s lips.
