Summary : Love doesn’t always has a happy ending. It simply doesn’t end.
A/N : inspired from the akame moments from Murasaki’s fancam. It’s clearly enough from the title. Taken from second person POV, Kazuya’s side. The translation of the lyrics credited to

You looked at him, and suddenly all of the memories rushed back into your mind. It was the moisten fragrance of the sea, bittersweet and heart-breaking. He realized your anxiety and stepped closer to you, asking if you were okay.
You told him that you were okay, you told him that there was nothing bothering you. In fact, you just weren’t sure of why you had suddenly lost your grip on your usually extreme self-control and let the past consume you.
…maybe you were too tired to resist.
Maybe you missed those old times too much.
Maybe it’s because you still loved him so much.
Maybe it’s because of the song.
That colour of the sunset we saw together, was a beautiful purple
He sang his part in perfect notes, and you sang your part; your voice harmonized with his-and you started to feel those feelings again; the fluttering movements of the tiny hummingbird’s wing, the longing emotion swirled innocently in your heart.
The farewell I can't tell properly is changing me into a honest self
Even though I suck at words, “I love you” is hurrying me
Your eyes met with his, and you replied with another awkward smile. You wished that you could tell him your feelings, you wished that you could touch him-like the old days, but you knew you could not do that; you stepped back and sang the continuation of the lyrics together with him.
I had the feeling that the more we got close, the more we were torn apart
If that place is warm, are you still making the flowers bloom ?
Even though I had the intention of giving up, even now you are the only one I've ever loved…
You stole a glance at him, and you remembered the silence of that evening. The scent of deep blue sea lingered in the air, mixed with the dim rays from the sun; the cool breeze harmonized with the sound of the waves.
It was at the same Okinawa beach where he confessed his love for you, and it was at the same place he told you that he was leaving you. He told you that soon, he would leave for LA, and you didn’t reply a word.
You never said good bye.
You never said anything.
And neither did he.
Both of you are stood there beyond the sea, both of your mouths were shut, and the words just never came out. You stared anywhere except him; and he avoided your eyes, staring at the horizon line with regretful eyes.
The purple we saw that day…
It would be good if we could go see it again
You looked at him once again, and you closed your eyes for a few seconds. He was still there, beside you; and you could almost feel his warmth on your bare skin. You opened your eyes and moved your hand to reach him-the tip of your fingers almost touched him, the crowd goes wild and you wondered what was he thinking about you at that moment.
Love doesn’t always has a happy ending.
It simply doesn’t end.
You faded yourself into the background, to let another member stand there beside him-but you made a promise in your heart : That evening wouldn’t be the end of your relationship with him. It wasn’t the end yet. It would never end.
