So I am pleasently surprised at the Bleach dub and offer my sincerest congrats to Vic. Ikkaku's voice isn't at all as bad as I thought it would be. In fact, it's pretty good. And in all honesty had I not known ahead of time who it was, it may have taken me a little while to figure it out. He doesn't sound disturbingly like Ed. Yumi's voice also isn ( Read more... )

I also give them props on the voices. The only nit-picky, elitist problem I have is with Gin's voice, and it's not so much the voice itself(I love the voice itself), but the sentence structure he uses. it's way too, um... proper(?) I guess would be the word. He's always been to me the type that is just way too friendly for anyone elses good. But his english counter part just doesn't give me the creepy-friendly vibe like his japanese version does. I don't know. It BUGS me! O.o;

Yeah, I agree with Gin's voice. They almost should have given him the southern type accent. English Gin is has a whole different type of creepy than Japanese Gin. It's doesnt' quite work.

I kind of expected to hear the southern drawl out of him, and was actually disappointed when I didn't. And they completely misdid the bye-bye line. >:F I cried. And he doesn't say 'Yo' either.
