it's so sweet but it has an almost... hmm like what they were doing before they were snuggling was tense, but now it's all good :D

Yes, they were in a tense situation before this point, I like to think. And once they're out of it, they're like "Screw this!...Sulu take the conn," and go to Kirk's quarters and crash for a few hours. XD
