Didn't know that there is a name by Japanese for 30. O_o I only know how major the 20th is by them.
Must say though, that as in Hungary you become an adult with 18 - and can work from 16, drive a motorbike, etc. - any other age isn't handled as such a big deal.

Absolutely YES!
XDDD We're still so young, I'll let people call me old lady in probably other 30 years!!!
Again happy birthday! ^_^ I miss a little the years when we used to spend both our birthdays in Tokyo karaokeing and so on...hope one day we will be able to do that again when the situation will calm down >_<
Always waiting for you to come visit Rome, don't make me go all the way to America, come on XDDD

I miss those times, too. It's only been a year but it seems so much longer since those days. When we're well established we should plan a trip somewhere together!
I'm still hoping to go to Rome but the trip is kinda in limbo right now because my mom is having problems with her knee. So seems like we'll have to postpone our fall trip until she feels better.T__T

Honestly, I can't believe I'm 30 either. I ask my mom every year to tell me the truth about my birth year. I mean the early 80s are all a blur to me. But I can't deny it, I definitely remember 86& up. :/
So I'm accepting it and happy that at least I'm not 40 yet.:p
I'm also grateful that I still look younger than my age. As long as people can't tell how old I really am...it's almost as if I haven't aged at all.:)
