Awesome. I would have loved to be there. That's pretty cool that Sugiyama researched English food. It's true though, our food isn't that bad, it's actually quite good but there is a lot of foreign food and lots of foreign restaurants. I guess that's where the stereotype comes in - more restaurants with foreign food than with our own! Lol.

Haha...but that's funny because in Japan, whenever someone asks me what is American food the first thing I think of (that I miss) are not hamburgers and hot dogs but rather tacos and Chinese food. :p

England is lucky to have so many foreign restaurants. I heard you guys have a lot of Indian and Japanese restaurants. And I never really had Indian food until I came to Japan.>

Haha lol. I imagine I'd struggle with that too. I'd be like, "Pasta! ...No, wait, that's Italian...."

Well, I guess we are lucky in a way. There is lots of variety, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, French... Those are the likely ones you'll find. But, it means that there isn't so much of our own food.... ;_; No so good. I do like pies. and scones, and sponge cake, and fish and chips.... I guess there are a lot of fish and chips shops, to be fair.

What's it like being in Japan when you are from England/America? I want to go to Japan, but I am worried that I won't be able to find food I like, and stuff...
