Finally, met Kakihara Tetsuya at Comike! Kacky Handshake Event Report.

Aug 19, 2007 23:12

Today was the Kakihara Tetsuya (Kacky) handshake event at Comike.  I woke up early in the morning to get there before 10 but well, not really that early.  Thank goodness too because it would've sucked to have to wait more than an hour in that scorching sun.  Nevertheless, I still got sunburned as well as tanned. Bleh.:p

But hey the lines and the ( Read more... )

aww, he sounds so cute! The official spelling is... interesting XD and it's awesome that you have Shiki in common :) *needs to listen to his radio show now so I can hear his English*

Yeah, he really IS cute. ^o^
I'm glad I brought up Shiki because what he said at the end was so funny.
Yes! Check out Pash de Dash or Onsen Toppa Gurren Lagann. But I think he uses more English in Pash. Either way, in both shows he's always fun to listen to. BTW, he also does a podcast called Tokyo Local.<--non-anime related

really? that's kinda cool that he does non-anime related stuff, too (although it'd prolly make more sense to me if i actually lived in tokyo ^^;)

the rajis might have to wait till after i finish work and go back to the states, though... I'm currently loading up on stuff to watch while i live in the new place with no internet for two weeks ^^; (including the last few eps of the gurren-lagann anime)

Oh you don't have to live in Tokyo to understand Tokyo Local, tho. They mainly talk about daily life stuff. Like what would you do if your bf cheated on you and stuff like that. But, yeah even I don't listen to it regularly because sometimes Kacky isn't there due to conflicts with his schedule.

I hope you enjoy the remaining eps of GL.^^
As for those 2 weeks of no internet, all I can say is GA..MAN SHI..TE.^o^

I am so happy for you! he's a really nice guy!

Damn, another reason to love GL.

Keep the good work and congratulations!
Don't you have photos?

Greetings!

Ooh you're a GL fan?
I hope they release the GL event on dvd. I bet all the fans would love to see it again!^^ So many priceless moments.

I think Kacky must be a pro by now at these events. He seemed really good at talking to people. And it was like all the girls were putty in his hands from the reactions on some of their faces when they were talking to him. haha...now, I get what Hatano was talking about when he used to tease Kacky about being good with the women.:p

PS: I forgot to answer your question about photos. Unfortunately, they don't allow cameras at events like this. In Japan, agencies are very strict about people taking photos of their talents. So unless you attend a "satsueikai" where fans are allowed to take a picture or get pics taken with talents, cameras are extremely forbidden.^^;

That sounded so fun! I wouldn't know what to say...LOL
I'm so glad that you had such a fun and natural(?) conversation with him!
I didn't know that he had the nickname Kacky/Kakki. It reminds me of of Takizawa Hideaki's nickname Tackey... ^^;

Yeah it was a great experience!^^
He seemed like so down-to-earth and easy to talk to.
I'll have to keep an eye out for any future events.
Hehe, speaking of Takizawa Hideaki, I remember when Tackey&Tsubasa came out. Before that, I used to always call him Takki. I kinda like Takki more than Tackey.>

If you have a fave seiyuu who is involved in a JUMP anime and you have the chance to come to Japan, I suggest you come visit Japan in December for Jump FESTA. A bunch of seiyuu show up for events for 2 days there.^^ Depending on the event, you may or may not get a chance to meet them, but you can definitely see them live and for free!!
