Lol, glad to know I'm not the only one. I was okay with most Christmas specials until social nuances of genders started coming through. Maybe I'd accept more of them now that I'm older, but ones like It's a Wonderful Life had a few things that sorta rubbed me the wrong way as a kid. Like the whole shock and horror part that if the guy hadn't been born, his wife would be a single librarian. As a kid, all I could think was, "is being a librarian that bad?" and "but she's really pretty! She probably just would have just met someone else! This doesn't make sense!"
