Rotten Sleep...Stupid Blood Suckers!

I know I've posted it 100 times, but I HATE SUMMER!!!! Living by a river is great any other time of year, but now. The rain while cooling doesn't help either. It sends the little blood suckers into a frenzy! I have an old house with old screens badly in need of repair. I can't even open the doors to get a little breeze in with out the whole lot of

Eeek =/ They are really bad in our area around summer time too. Have you tried a citronella candle?

Yah; I didn't think about it last night but you could try burning candles in the rooms, only when you are in them of course, like citronella and such. I think I've seen ads for new kinds as well. It may help for when you are in the computer room and bathroom. I can't vouch for the bedroom as I don't think you'd want to burn candles while you sleep. Also you could try spraying the windows/screens with bug repellent... It might work. =P Good luck!

I hear you about the heat.
Here in SE Ga, it's awful most of the year. Thank goodness for a/c, we couldn't do without it.

No fleas here, but we get those nasty big tree roaches in the house sometimes. Ugh, I hate them so, so much!

Let's both hope the fall comes quickly, the relief is desperately needed.
