You're giving me a hard time not to cry here. This is so sad. But I liked it anyway.

Oh god. This left me in teaaaars! I found it all so tragic, how their timeline went in opposite directions, and by how much Alfred loved Arthur, and how Arthur loved him back just as much. GAAAAAAH. SO GOOD. It was well done, short but sweet, and yes, the kind of story people would eat up. It's like the Time Traveller's Wife, but far more tragic. Considering that Alfred's last Valentines left him dead, and how he died for a man that he was so in love with, yet that same man still didn't know who he was, as in, really know him and love him, and gaaaaah.

However, I found Arthur's death forced and weird. It didn't connect with the rest of the story. I found his death poetic, irony and all, but it was just, 'oh, let's just let some random man shoot Arthur without any reason. And about the police or the ambulance? Nah, no thanks.' sorry, man.

I'm glad you liked it.

I know Arthur's death is a little forced, I was wanting to get it down. There is more to what happened I just didn't have the time to write, or rather I didn't feel like it. But if I ever expand on Arthur's death it will make sense. I was just really lazy and I couldn't think of him for another way to do die that didn't seemed more forced because Alfred is at his house. If I write more about this, I'll probably change it as well.
