I so agree with this entry, and have wondered this myself. I think the guys are all in math/physics/engineering.

Anyway, I hope you had an OK time last night, despite what happened. But I feel proud of what we did! It was nice meeting you. And I love your red coat!

Yeah probably, but you'd think they go out and do other things besides schoool... maybe? Maybe not!

I did have a good time! I even had a good time talking to that guy before they ditched us, haha. I guess guys are expected to put themselves out there at risk of rejection all the time. It's fair that we have to experience it sometimes too.

Thanks for organizing the little meet up! And perhaps I'll see you around again sometime!

Yeah agreed. Since writing this post I have finally managed to become friends with my roommate and her friends, and have finally started seeing a guy I met through them, but it took two years! Had many false starts. I'm starting to feel better about the city now though, at least.
