I’m seeing a lot of mention going around about that heartbreaking moment in Winter Soldier, and everybody I’ve seen commenting on it says they thought they were the only one who was crushed when it turned out to be what it was instead of what it looked like.

I was excited that Jenny was going to whomp his butt while the guys were being useless. Then I realized it was Black Widow and that was fine too but yeah.

And I knew before I read the cut the scene you meant. :)

Yeah - I wasn't certain which moment you meant at first, but thinking back, that's the big one even though there was zero Cap & Bucky angst in it. (Poor Cap - all your friends who aren't dead can't remember you...)

But if it had really been her, would she have had the device (EMP thing that looks like a nickel?) to save herself from the lapel button of death? And since it wasn't her, where was she?

That was a Widow Sting, one of Nat's perennial gadgets in the comics, so yeah, only Nat would've had that, so Jenny coulda gotten fried. :)

I don't know where she really was! I'd really like to know!
