I wanted to do a quick WFC recap before it gets so far away as to be irrelevant, so here I go. :)

First off, this was the first con I’d been to since about 2006 that I didn’t have professional obligations at. In fact, that’s almost a blanket statement: the first two conventions I went to were the only ones I’ve *not* been at in some professional

It was a pleasure meeting and talking to you and Ted. I somehow missed that Susan Freaking Cooper was being interviewed, but had the same Wiiliam F Freaking Nolan moment when I saw him in the dealer's room. And Chaz takes care of me far more than I take care of him.

Dark Is Rising

I remember picking up The Grey King at ye olde library because it was featured in A Tree Grows In Brooklyn (If I recollect properly). I had to read/report on Newberry Award Winners for summer reading.)

I devoured the entire series in a week. Behold! A Fantasy Geek is born!!
