weekend report

Yesterday morning I got out of bed and discovered I had screwed up my back somehow while sleeping. The weekend has not been *especially* fun, as a result.

Despite this, I took Young Indiana to a movie this morning. He only lasted through 30 minutes of the film (Planes: too boring for a 3 year old) and we went to lunch and did some shopping

This is one of my big projects too. (Okay, it has literally been on the projects list since I moved into this house, which is almost 12 years ago...but since I have now sorted through almost everything else, dammit, I WILL get to this one too.)

For instance, since I got married in 1984 and divorces in 1987, I suspect I don't need the entire selection of MY wedding photos. A few cute ones of my step-daughter (who was 2 at the time) and a few with the family as a whole. Otherwise, not so much.

Sounds like a fun weekend save for the back! Hee, here we even get an extra geek fun regarding Thor and Avengers as they got a write up in the paper -- not for a movie review, but for a "Favored Son" story for the character of Hawkeye, as Clint Barton's storyline states he's from Waverly, IA -- and even though there's no actual circus based out of here, the city's quite happy and proud to claim him! Doesn't hurt that the sports teams and fans of the University of Iowa are called Hawkeyes either. :)

Tell your Mom, albumed is the correct simple plural form in Finnish and Estonian. The partitive plural is albumit.

Unfortunately it only popped a little bkt back. It's still not well.

Mom says it's too bad for me I'm neither Finnish nor Estonian. :)

*grumble grumble* I was planning to go through my old photos, too, and digitize them, but I can't find them. The leading hypothesis is that I threw them out by mistake one of the last two times I moved...

Mine were saved from that sort of fate by spending most of the past decade in my in-laws' garage... :}
