I, despite several warning signs to the contrary, managed to be *so certain* that the Meat Loaf Farewell Tour concert that I bought tickets for in _December_ was tonight, May 19, that I did not check the tickets until I got to the concert venue tonight and nobody was there.

The concert was on Friday, the 17th.

Oh fuck for both bits.

(I did once get panicky when I realised, a couple of days past when a gig was supposed to be, that it was now a couple of days past and I still hadn't received the tickets. This was resolved when I realised the tickets had been on sale 14 months rather than 2 months ahead, and it was still a year to go.)

Ugh. *hugs* Looks like he's in Manchester GB next weekend... Taking a ferry and then driving looks like about a 5 hour trip from Dublin (which is where I assume you are, or thereabouts anyway). ;)
