preposterously awesome

We all know I have a coat problem. Slightly less well-known is my bag problem, which is particularly incomprehensible because I don’t usually carry one.

I would, however, give up all the other rarely used bags in favor of never using this one:

That is definitely a bag worth lusting after!
I would go for black, though, if only because would go with more things. (Though in my case it would be a choice of goes with jeans or goes with jeans, since I live in skirts, and my only non-skirt lower body garments are two pairs of jeans.)

Nahh...

Just don't close your coat tightly.

Open leather trenchcoat billowing slightly in the wind, black bag strapped to one thigh, big-ass gun in a hip holster on the other side...

Lara Croft; Move over, there's someone more badass in town... ;-)

Whereas I look at that and think "I love the lines, but all the dangly bits would make it into a cat toy waiting to happen..."

Find me a sleeker version, though, and I'm all in. In brown, of course, because brown is the natural leather of a proper adventurer. Urban or otherwise. :-)

And those hips either belong to a mannequin, or were photoshopped beyond humanity, Catie.

Looking at the other pictures, the abs and hips demonstratively belong to a real person who is blessed with a phenomenally tiny physique.

I still call photoshop (having seen it used all too often on photos of a similar nature). That sort of featureless sleekness around the lower stomach is not natural, even for women who're genetically gifted. And if she were ripped, you'd see muscle tone...

She is clearly a small woman who has also probably been photoshopped, and I would like this to not turn into an argument on my blog, please.

Yeah, I'm not certain I don't like Ms Moneypenny better too. Serious bag lust going on here!
