Malik's sister, Tahira, who is a character I tried *desperately* to work into the 3rd book of the Negotiator trilogy, and just. could. not. do it.

I actually think it *does* do her justice. She's supposed to be unusually lovely, and she's...very bold, and more than a little tragic.
