I did, in fact, write a thoroughly insane 12k-ish words in one day on GIVING THANKS during Nanowrimo. Though I believe you have also managed equally insane feats.

I was going to guess that you'd get 40k written during your retreat but got distracted and forgot to comment. :) Congrats!
