The Great Big Crowdfunding Poll

Feb 15, 2012 14:09

The following poll is long (a whopping FOURTEEN QUESTIONS!!!), so I'm putting it behind a cut. You will notice I am No Fun At All, and have not made this a Ticky Box Poll, but rather a Radio Button Poll, which means only one answer per question. This is because I'm more or less trying to avoid "all of the above" answers, because I'm trying to get ( Read more... )

I voted for you over at the link you provided--you're way ahead :-) Couldn't find the place to vote for your friend, though--two links were identical.

And I would like the option to "buy" a print edition at a semi-reasonable rate, if I can't afford to buy into the campaign at that level. Just for future reference.

Done! Your wish is my command :-)

Also, I just finished a 4 1/2 hour writing blitz that ended up with 4,745 new words in the WIP. Tired woot. *falls over*

I almost clicked Print Run for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd most compelling reasons to join. It was the reason I joined when it got to that level and not earlier. The other bonuses determined what level I joined.

I don't like ebooks - especially not for anything over 10-12 pages because I spend way too much time reading things from a screen and want to relax AWAY from my screen.

This right here!

I, for one, am not a big fan of reading anything of length on a screen. I like paper books. I like the chance to rest my eyes before I go to sleep at night not having to be upright, or have my eyes fixed on a backlit screen. Since I don't have a portable e-reader, this means I don't really enjoy doing e-books. Now, if my printer had a decent ink-life, I'd buy them and just print them out and bind them myself, which I have done with some of my gaming books, and a couple other titles in the past.

I hit other on why I primarily supported the kick starter and it's because I like you. :)

What brought my dad in was that it was The Walker Papers and the print edition.
