Gina Carano is my imaginary American Gladiator girlfriend, and I think she is just marvelous.

Soderbergh really wants her to succeed, and it shows. I also think that she would rock as Wonder Woman.

Having just seen the film, the acting was pretty top notch all around. I think the lead did a fantastic jilib at not been shown up by the rest of the cast who are all pretty good actors!

Sadly they were let down by a most simple and non sensible plot! The meeting at the start between the three male protagonists, makes no sense when you consider the motivations Kenneth.

Also I think watching a movie set In a city you know, is a little off putting. Hell I used to go to comic/sci fi events in wynns hotel! Though at least they for the geography mostly right. Even if they were ripped off by that taxi driver, but I digress away fro
The flaw in the movie, it's script!

Soderbergh almost always makes action flicks like that. I enjoy them a lot but they're art films, in just about every sense of the word. The Limey is a great example. Weird time stuff, using clips from old Terrence Stamp movies to stand in for flashbacks. Out Of Sight, too.

We're seeing it Thursday, and I may have more to say then.

*sigh* I don't think it's out here yet. I've been waiting for this movie since it was supposed to come out back in April of last year.
