…that’s kind of a decent Rogue wig. Of course, now I’m going to have to make a costume (in, you know, my copious free time), because it’s one thing to wear my hair like that and something else to actually spend money on a wig.
I wonder, would it be too short for the 'Farah Fawcett' head-banded Rogue look? (I think I'll always believe Rogue's hair is all about the volume and curl. You know, the Rogue that should have been a character in Jem and the Holograms but instead got put in the X-Men. :-p )
I've never seen anybody successfully do the headband look on a cosplay for Rogue. I think it requires either real hair or a hugely expensive wig (or Jim Lee following you around re-drawing your hair all day).
Now, see, I'd argue that practically everybody in the 80s was pretty, with the big silly foofy hair and all. I think there are much less attractive styles you could pick. :)
Anyway, it's less the hairstyle than the limitations of wigs. They have to be very good to be able to comb them back, nevermind to weave a headband through them decently. I could probably do pretty good 80s Rogue hair with my real hair, but not right now. :)
I'm inclined to the X-Treme costume, probably, just because I think red and blue are easier to carry off as colors than yellow and green. One of the more traditional green ones might be cool too. If I was gonna do the movie costume I'd use my own hair. :)

*love for the Jem reference* :)

The same can be said of all 80's hairstyles.
So all in all, that is a pretty darned cool wig for the straight haired Rogue look... but, which costume will accompany it?
