Welcome to 2011…

…the year of shameless self-promotion. Or at least that’s how it’s going to start out.

Tis the season for pre-ordering: SPIRIT DANCES is up for pre-order at Amazon (but not Indiebound, or I’d link there too). SPIRIT DANCES is book 6 of the Walker Papers, just for the record.

By popular request (okay, one person asked), I went ahead and did a sort ( Read more... )

old races, sustainable funding models, short stories, walker papers, commissions, janx and daisani, novellas, calendars

Yay, yay, and more yay!

So glad you put together a calendar. I've had friend-made ones for the last three years, and didn't have one for this year. I was just mentioning to Greg that we needed to get a new one. And now we shall! And it will be a Catie-one!

Hooray for pre-orders and automatic upgrades!

And much, much love for your donation button. :)

Oh, cool. Glad to have provided you with a calendar, then!

Does my "if one turns into a novella" caveat suit, do you think? You were the one who made me think about that, so thank you. :)

(Also, at least two people have been amused by the donate button, so it was clearly worth making just for that. *laughs* *HUGS*!)

I think it does, as well as not including specific delivery dates for the stories. That was my other concern--that Life Would Happen, and you'd stress yourself out over a completely arbitrary and self-imposed deadline.

As for the button--dude. I can think of half-a-dozen people who could use that.

*BIG HUGS*

They're all welcome to use it, too, or variations on the theme. :)

My intention is still to deliver 'em every other month, but yeah, at least I didn't say "On the first of every other month!" or something. I suspect they'll end up coming in around midway each month. :)

Nice. Very equitable. Seems like the best solution all around. Well done!

And love the button. That's perfect.

Excited to see you going ahead with this. Good luck with getting it paper-published!

Meantime, I'm looking forward to Year of Miracles. (I read one book/novella/whatever at a time, but it got bumped to the head of the queue.) Hmm, if I work this right along with continuing to catch up on Joanie Walker's life, I could have a new (to me) C. E. Murphy story every month this year!

Do love the button. And, putting my money where my mouth fingers are, I shall go use it! :)
